Obituary of Faye Albertine Young

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Faye Albertine Young, on August 22, 2023 at Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Youngs Cove on July 4, 1935 to Albert and Hazel (Young) Bent.

Faye was predeceased by her husband, Carl M. Young. She is survived by her only brother, Wayne (Joyce) Bent, Clarence; her beloved children, Randy (Kim), Coldbrook, Debbie (Ron) LeClair, Belleisle, Phillip (Vi Doucette), Belleisle, Janice (Sheldon) Guest, Dalhousie; grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Whitney, Jamie, Craig, Katie, Mariah; step grandchildren, Natalie and Jake; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mom was a stay at home wife and mother, who loved her family dearly. A member of St. Marys Anglican Church, St. Marys ACW, Womens Institute.

The family would like to thank Dr. Buchholz and the staff of the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home for their care our mom received for the last 6 years.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home. A service will be held  11am Saturday August 26, 2023 in St. Marys Anglican Church, Belleisle with Rev. Deborah Lonergan Freake offciaitng. Private family interment will follow. Family flowers only.
