Obituary of Bradley Ronald Bent
Bradley Ronald Bent, 63, of Lequille passed away unexpectedly at home on July 16, 2023. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was the son of the late Harold (Ronnie) and Beatrice Bent.
Brad's love of cars led to his career in car sales where colleagues and many loyal customers became lifelong friends.
A devout fan of the Expos, Blue Jays and Montreal Canadians, his passion and knowledge of sports rivalled any and every sports book ever written.
Brad was a long standing member of the Port Royal Legion, Branch #21, where he was acting as president, most recently, for the past 10 years.
He will be long remembered for his mannerisms, his passion for history and sports, "record keeping", humour and, above all, his love for his late wife Connie.
Brad is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Leslie and grandson, Luka Rodin of Peterborough, ON, his four sisters, Marilyn, Dianne, Gail and Caryl. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Harris "Dick", and the love of his life, his wife, Connie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00pm on Monday July 24th, at the Port Royal Legion, Branch #21 with a fellowship to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brad's memory may be made to Legion Branch #21 or the Wounded Warriors Canada Foundation. On line condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
