Obituary of Robert Nimmo

Nimmo, Robert Calvin, 68 of Karsdale, Anna. Co. passed away January 26, 2012 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Calvin and Edna (Moran) Nimmo. Robert was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #21. He is survived by his wife Brenda, son Bill (Joyce) of Canning; grandchildren, Leah and Kathryn; step grandchildren, Aaron and Alanda Fisher; sister, Carol (Wayne) Burgess ON; brothers, Douglas (Nadine) ON, Blaine of Alberta, Barry, Gregory and Dale all of Ontario. He was predeceased by sister, Shirley and brother Thomas Private family interment will be held May 5, 2012 in Christ Church Cemetery, Karsdale followed by a public funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in Robert's memory may be sent to the Annapolis Community Health Foundation or to the Annapolis Royal Fire Department.
