Grosvold (nee Sanford), Zelinda Frances “Dawn” – 58, of Annapolis Royal, passed away June 11, 2023, in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home.  Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Ray and Wanda (Lantz) Sanford.  Dawn was an Honor student graduating from Sackville High School, Lower Sackville.  When she was younger she had great dreams of becoming a Lawyer.   During her late teens she enjoyed camping, always enjoyed music and loved to dance, was a self-taught cook, enjoyed spending time with her dad helping with his woodwork. She loved animals especially dogs and loved to read a good book, when her eye sight declined, she enjoyed being read to.   Dawn was very strong in her faith.  She is survived by her parents; brother Vance C. Scott Sanford; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Halvard Grosvold and son, Daniel Grosvold.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday June 25, 2023, in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Clementsvale Cemetery.  Donations may be made in memory to the MS Society of Canada, Atlantic Division 1-109 Ilsley Ave, Dartmouth, NS B3B 1S8.  On line condolences may be made by visiting www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
