Obituary of Bruce Caldwell Forcey
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Bruce Forcey announces his sudden passing at the age of 77 years.
Bruce was born on August 20th, 1945, to late parents Thelma (Halliday) and Earl Forcey of Lequille, N.S. He is survived by his brother Earl Jr. (Lee); children Brent Forcey (Cheryl), Leonard Forcey, Anne Marie Jess (Sean) Melissa Symes (Cory), their mother Elizabeth Forcey as well as 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters Mary Lynn (Patrick) and Jeanette (Ed).
Bruce had a successful career with the Bank of Nova Scotia for many years before retiring in his late fifties. His strong work ethic coupled with his sense of responsibility will be forever remembered. He loved playing music, golfing, hunting, camping, fishing, volunteering, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home in Annapolis Royal. A graveside service will be held at a later date and will be kept private for immediate family only.
