Linda Louise .... You are missed by so very many people, because you are loved by so many. I don't know if you could list all your friends. I think of you together with your Stephen and know you are happy and loved again. You and Cheryl were so supportive and caring when I was in the throes of my pain in the loss of our Natasha. 2 of my Guardian Angels. You tried to make everything better for anyone you saw who was in need. I am sure you have met our Natasha by now. I miss her every day. There will never be another you, Linda. Angel kisses to you, until we meet again.
Love, Shirley E. Parker

Linda only looked after my Mom for. Few months but in that time I know Mom really enjoyed her love of life. She always seemed to be in a good mood and looked at the better side of things. Always able to make Mom laugh. I know my Mom misses her.
Our condolences to her family and friends.

Anyone who knew Linda would never forget her smile or her generosity.
I first got to know Linda when she cared for my sweet daughter Jessica. She was so capable and loving and was with me the night that Jessica passed. She was a shoulder to cry on and became my good friend.
I met up with Linda earlier in the day on Tuesday and can’t believe that later that day she left us.
For all the friends and family that read this, if you get the chance to listen to the song by Casting Crowns called Scars In Heaven, listen to the words. It may bring you some comfort as it has for me.
Part of the song says:
“The only scars in Heaven, they won’t belong to me and you
There’ll be no such thing as broken, and all the old will be made new
And the thought that makes me smile now, even as the tears fall down
Is that the only scars in Heaven are on the hands that hold you now”
Rest In Peace my friend. Every time I see a butterfly it will make me think of you and Jessica together. Big hugs!

Linda and I had just began our friendship over the past few months, but what an impact she made, it was like we had known each other for years, we had so much in common, I think that’s why we were drawn to one another, she had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up the room. I will miss our daily talks, our Monday night bingos and playing with Precious. It was a honour and a blessing to call you my friend. I will keep you close to my heart, till we meet again, farewell beautiful lady. ♥️

I met Linda when I was working at Bingo in New Minas. We hit it off instantly. I made her a nice new cushion for her new chair. That started a friendship that I will cherish. If I was making pickles and preserves she would come and help. When I did my Christmas cooking she liked to come help me. I would send her home with lots of both. She was kind and generous. I appreciated that and her friendship. As she said to me last time I spoke to her. " I love ya girlfriend " here's back at you Linda. Love Pam

Linda was a dear friend. She loved her family and friends more than anything..when she said she was going to do something you could count on it happening . She loved coffee chats, cooking and baking and planning trips to get out of the cold. She never let circumstances get her down and lived life to the fullest. Will never forget that lesson of life. Fly high my friend

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's death. I knew her from high school, hadn't seen her for years and then a couple of years ago we reconnected in Kentville. She was always the same - full of life, cheerful and ready for a coffee and a gab. She helped me look after my dad when he was staying with me. She was always willing to help in what ever capacity it was needed. I'll miss her laugh, her positive outlook and that hint of mischief that was always present. She was one of a kind. Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope you find berries to pick and a big bingo hall that calls your numbers. My sincere sympathy to her family.

From Gilbert McInnis To Linda's family, my deepest condolences from Kathy-Ann Browning (Geraldine's daughter) and I. We knew Linda only for a short time while Linda lovingly cared for Gerri these last few months. In this short time, Linda made a very personal impression on all of us with her humour, her wonderful attitude, and her joyous spirit. Linda was always generous enough to share her love with anybody, whether it was by listening to them meaningfully, or nudging them to seek happiness in the simple things in life; in fact, my last memory of Linda was this.
My last moment with Linda was a Friday night a few weeks back when she came by the Bownings to take care of Gerri. When I arrived Linda greeted me warmly, as she always did, then she noticed my guitar case next to the front door, and she was quick to nudge me to bring it into the kitchen right away and begin playing. Once my buddy arrived (at Linda's passionate request) we had a kitchen party in full motion within the hour; Gerri was up dancing with her visiting brother from Ontario while Linda was having a good time videoing it all on her phone. I will miss you Linda. Safe passage to your next destination in that yellow dream car of yours.
Here is a poem for the "Beloved" family members that I hope will help the healing process:
Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more.
Fresh as the first beam glittering on a sail,
That brings our friends up from the underworld,
Sad as the last which reddens over one
That sinks with all we love below the verge;
So sad, so fresh, the days that are no more.
Ah, sad and strange as in dark summer dawns
The earliest pipe of half-awaken'd birds
To dying ears, when unto dying eyes
The casement slowly grows a glimmering square;
So sad, so strange, the days that are no more.
Dear as remembered kisses after death,
And sweet as those by hopeless fancy feign'd
On lips that are for others; deep as love,
Deep as first love, and wild with all regret;
O Death in Life, the days that are no more!
Lord Alfred Tennyson

My thoughts & prayers are with you John & Lynne and your Families, at this most difficult time. This has certainly not been an easy time for any of us that has known her. Linda has been My Maggie for 50+ years & we certainly had done alot of things and had a great deal of fun as well. She was a Lady that Loved Large & Lived the same way. Maggie loved people and was such a giver and if she liked you there wasn't anything that she wouldn't do for you or a memeber of your family. I will never forget you Maggie & I have you tuck in my heart with Kevin and now I have to learn to live my life without you in it. You are now reunited with Your Steve the Love of your Life. I'm sure he was there to greet and you gave him that Big Smile that he loved. Will miss you My Dear Sweet Maggie Rest in Peace...Love You

I was devastated to read of Linda's death this morning. She was a much loved student of mine at BRHS I shall always remember the day she came up to me, touched my cheek, and said, "You know, Miss Watson, you might appear to be tough, but underneath it all, you are just an old softie," and with that, she gave me one of her huge hugs. She was kind, caring, always smiling, and a treasure to have in the classroom. To Linda's children, cherish her memory and be thankful that you had such a wonderful mother. My sincere condolences to you all as you mourn her passing. Sincerely, Ann Watson

To John, Jill, Lynn and Paul: So sorry to hear about your mother and mother-in-law passing. Linda was my best friend and I am going to miss her as I enjoyed our telephone conversations, our outings that she was so kind to take me on and she always checked in to see if I am alright. Linda was the kindest person that you ever want to meet and everyone who met her loved her. She will be sadly missed by everyone.
