Obituary of Dana Eugene Eaton

Dana Eugene Eaton, (1965-2022) – Belleisle, Annapolis County.  After a long battle of illness, Dana passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, at the age of 56. Born in Middleton, his father is Douglas Eugene Eaton; mother, Beatrice Dianne Eaton (Karl Cleveland).   After graduation in Annapolis Royal, he attended two years at the Middleton Vocational School, graduating from the Auto Body Course, where his lifelong, love of cars and everything with wheels began.   He enjoyed carpentry, being around friends, hunting and being involved in many outdoor activities, surrounded in nature. Dana is survived by his sisters, Heather (Jeremy) Smyth and Martha Trites (Mark Bragg); nephews, Ryan and Nathan Trites; aunts, Marilyn Durling , Carol MacLaren, Gail Wrenn and Jone Bent; uncle, Bradley Bent; several cousins.  He was predeceased by his uncles, Harold Bent, Sandy MacLaren and Noel Durling; aunt, Connie Bent.  Following Dana’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown.  A graveside service will be held at a later date.  Donations in memory may be sent to a charity of choice.
