Obituary of Anita June Miller

Miller, Anita "June", 82, of Clarence, Anna. Co., passed away Saturday April 14, 2012 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in New York she was a daughter of the late Wylie and Annie (Ricketson) Stronach. June was a graduate of Acadia University with a Business degree. June was a Princess representing Bridgetown in the 1952 Apple Blossom Festival. She was a great homemaker, and loved spending time with her family and at her church, where she was a member of the church choir. She also enjoyed travelling. June is survived by her husband of 59 years Ernest; daughters, Linda (Kevin) McIvor of Calgary, Alberta and Wendy Lee Miller (Ron Semeniuk) of Fairmount Hot Springs, British Columbia; granddaughter, Janessa McIvor; sister, Marie Gabriel and brother in-law, Doug (Janet) Miller and family. She was predeceased by brother, Dean Lewis at infancy, and sister Joyce King. Visitation will take place from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown 7-9 pm Thursday. Funeral Service will be held at 2pm Friday, April 20, 2012 from the Bridgetown Baptist Church, with Rev. David Cumby officiating assisted by Rev. Dr. George Allen. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. Donations may be made to Bridgetown Baptist Church Choir, or to Invermere Companion Animal Network Box 2448 Invermere, B.C. V0A 1K0.
