Marianne Mueller - Sparenberg Obituary

Marianne Mueller-Sparenberg

November 10th 1929 - November 1st 2022

Marianne passed away peacefully at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home surrounded by family.

She was born in Meerbeck Germany, and was the only child of the late Maria (Golomb) and Wilhelm Jellessen.

Marianne married the love of her life Helmut at the age of 20.  Helmut and Marianne established a wonderful life together filled with lots of laughter and joy.

In 1993 she moved with her family from Germany to Canada. Family was the main focus of her life. She would encourage Sunday dinners and afternoon coffee dates with the table set ever so neatly. You could guarantee to find a treat or two for the granddaughters and great grandchildren which earned her the title of Cookie Oma.

When she wasn’t tending to her family, you could spot her on the tennis court with Helmut and Holger.  She also enjoyed walking.

She is survived by her son Holger, granddaughters Sabrina and Gwynneth and great grandchildren Noah, Rogan and Tatjana.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ken Buchholz and Staff of ARNH excellent tender love and care they provided to Marianne.

Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Saturday November 5, 2022, in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
