Carolyn B. Given, 81, Tideview Terrace, Digby, NS passed away peacefully October 17, 2022. Born in Digby, NS, she was the daughter of the late Hazel and Benjamin Thibodeau.  Carolyn, a kind woman with a generous heart, was a devoted wife to Stan and a loving mother to Bob and Angela. She spent many years moving with Stan and her kids to various RCAF postings across Canada and in Germany, eventually settling in Centrelea, NS where they lived happily for over 30 years.  Carolyn enjoyed many years cultivating lasting friendships as a member of the Club 55 Ladies Bowling League in Bridgetown. She was often seen walking with friends though Centrelea. She also enjoyed traveling over the years throughout Canada, and Western Europe and last but not least, the Hawaiian Islands.  Mom will be dearly missed.  Due to illness, Carolyn came full circle and lived at Tideview Terrace in Digby for the past few years.  Carolyn is lovingly remembered by son, Robert (Beatrice) Given; daughter, Ruth Angela (Murray) Schrader; grandsons, Robi Given, Nathaniel and Daniel Fredericks; brothers Paul (Carol) Thibodeau and Maurice (Marlene) Thibodeau; sister, Helena Winchester; many nieces and  nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Stan; sisters, Blanche Clements, Marion Wilkins, Ella Haynes, Geraldine Thibodeau, Evelina Thibodeau and Annie Thibodeau; brothers, Lloyd Thibodeau and Eldred Thibodeau.  A special thanks to all the Staff of Tideview Terrace for their years of loving care, kindness and compassion for our Mother.  A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at the Centrelea Cemetery (2492 HWY 201) at 2pm  Tuesday,  October 25, 2022, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Centrelea Community Hall.
