Remembering a lovely lady (in every sense of the word) who managed the Bridgetown Home Hardware , a task that she did exceptionally well. She was always so knowledgeable , polite and friendly while serving us with the best of her ability. You will not be forgotten Hilda , Rest peacefully with your beloved Ralph. Sincere condolences to the Messinger family on the passing of your Mom, Mother-in-law and Grandmother. I remember Mrs. Messinger and the family from many years ago when I lived in Bridgetown. In fact, I think she was a sister to my Uncle Vernon Bent if memory serves me correctly... but not completely sure if I'm correct on that. Bless you all at this very difficult time.

I remember one time when she work at the home hardware Cecil was looking for a copper 45 degree elbow and they didn't have any his words to Hilda were you call this a hardware store you got every pot and pan but don't have a elbow Hilda said they will be on the truck next week Cecil said I need it now not next week and they both laughed
