Obituary of Anne Jessica Helen Gloria Scott

 

Anne Jessica Helen Gloria Scott nee Foster passed away early in the morning on August 25, 2022.  Anne was born in Toronto on November 24, 1937 to William and Lillian Foster.  There were three girls in the family, her twin sisters Shirley and Wilda are predeceased.  

Anne is survived by her husband, David Merrifield, the true love of her life, her four children, John (Carol), Dawn, and twins TrudyAnn(Jan) and Cameron.  She leaves behind 10 grandchildren,   Amy, Aurora, Hannah, Julie, Justin, Matthew, Michael, Maxfield, Sarah and Therease, 
and five great grandchildren Ash, Dorian, Joseph, Leigh and Mia.

Anne worked in Ontario as an administrator and then as a teacher.  In retirement she moved to Vancouver where she met David.  After many years together on the West Coast they purchased a summer home in Annapolis Royal which eventually became their permanent residence.

Anne loved reading, walking, playing cribbage and watching birds at their backyard feeder.  She was particularly fond of Chickadees her entire life.  She gave something unique to each of us and love to all of us and will be deeply missed.
