Emin, Catherine Jane Mary Emin, Catherine Jane Mary (age 65) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Cathy on March 31st. 2022 at the Annapolis Community Health Centre in Annapolis Royal. She put up a courageous and tenacious battle with cancer over the past nine months and passed peacefully with her family by her side. Cathy was born on Nov. 21st. 1956 in Annapolis Royal, NS and was one of four children of Ardath (MacKenzie) Emin and the late Robert Emin. Cathy is survived by her three siblings Robert (Gisele ; Riverview NB), Carla (Granville Centre NS), Anthony (Brenda; Waldec NS) and her friend and partner Brian Wambolt (Clementport NS). She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Chloe, Dylan, Jessica and Gregory as well as step niece Morgan and step nephew’s, Mike and Ryan along with great nephew’s, River and Boden. Cathy grew up in Annapolis Royal and worked in the family business which she was so very proud of until her father’s retirement. She then opened her own retail store (the Crooked Floor). She loved to share her passion for design, music and the arts through her many hours of volunteer work in the community as her friends could attest to and her friends were more than friends, they were a big part of her family. Till the end she maintained her sense of humour , passion for life and wisdom when called upon which will be greatly missed. If there was an opportunity to dance and appreciate good music she was all in. Cathy found great comfort in her time spent at the family cottage at Sandy Bottom Lake and loved showing off her water skiing talent with a smile. Donations in Cathy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit of the Annapolis Community Health Centre. On line condolences may be sent to kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com. A Celebration of Cathy's Life has been cancelled by her family and close friends due to the COVID numbers in the area. Dearly remembered and held lovingly in the thoughts and hearts of us all. Rest in Peace. ***** THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN CANCELLED*****
