JAMES “JIM” ALBERT STEELE
Young’s Cove, N.S. died on February 23, 2022, Born May 4, 1940 in Fredericton, N.B. the only child of George Albert Steele and Gladys Lillian (Phillips) Steele, who predeceased him.
Left to grieve are his wife of 55 years, Mary Caroline (Derrah) Steele, son James and his son Jameson, son Ian his wife Vicki, their son Ryan & daughter Lily. And his faithful cat Paul.
Jim enjoyed his 35 year career with The Bank of Nova Scotia, which took him to several places in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Before retiring, he managed the branch in Bridgetown for 17 years.
Jim was always community oriented, volunteering with The United Church, the Lions Club, the Recreation Association, among others.
Jim enjoyed the last 23 1/2 years of his life on the Bay of Fundy Shore, entertaining family & friends.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 27th in The William Black Pastoral Charge United Church/ St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Bridgetown, with Rev. Don MacPherson officiating. Covid 19 restrictions will be followed. Proof of Vaccine and ID will be required. The service will be web-casted and will be available on our website.
Family will be “at home” after the service to welcome friends.
