Obituary of Elizabeth McKenzie

Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
In memory of Elizabeth Ann McKenzie. With the understanding we would like to share the homecoming of Elizabeth Ann McKenzie to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on March 5, 2012. Jesus welcomed Elizabeth with open arms into his home, for this we thank him. Elizabeth waits for her husband of 22 years Grey Mckenzie, who was and remains by her side as her best friend, biggest supporter and champion. Elizabeth knows her three children, Lisa Janice Bartz, Sarah Ward-Cameron, Sieta Pfneisel are safe in the knowledge of her heart living through each one of them through her sparkly, charismatic and open spirit. Elizabeth was a dear friend and care giver to her mother, Yvonne Claire Ward. Elizabeth joins her deceased father Reverend Earl Douglas Ward. We know Elizabeth loved and cherished her younger sister Sandra Yvonne Ward, an exceptional care-giver and friend. Elizabeth also would like to say thank-you to her brother Gary Douglas Ward and his wife Janice, she admired and found comfort in their strength. Elizabeth's love, inquisitiveness and life shine through her grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke Bartz, Mikayla and Josh Pfneisel, and Warren and Carson Cameron. Elizabeth was a valued Aunt to Geoffrey and Jennifer Ward and the time she spent with them will always be remembered. Her Uncle Iver Walker and her cousins Pat, Cindy, and Lynn were a blessing in her life. The lives that she touched and the lives that will continue to live by her demonstration of faith, gratitude, encouragement and love will outlast even this world. Elizabeth was a Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother. Her family knows we were entertaining an angel. "Do not forget to entertain stranger, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it." (Hebrews 13:2) Visitation will be held Wednesday March 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:30 in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal where the service will be conducted by Rev. Nathan Waterman. A reception will follow and them interment will be in the Cambridge Baptist Cemetery, Cambridge. On line condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
