Obituary of Ulla Myrtle Hudson

Hudson, Ulla Myrtle – of Port Wade. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ulla Myrtle Hudson on January 13, 2022. Born in Victoria Beach, she was a daughter of Minnie (Weir) and Howard Ellis and wife of Kenneth Eugene Hudson. Ulla was a devoted Christian who lived her faith every day. This sustained her even as she began to fail in recent months. We will miss her as she, with shaking hands, blessed the meals we were about to enjoy. Ulla was also a woman of prayer who people turned to when encouragement was needed. She knitted for as many years as she could, making mittens for many grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; son, LeRoy; daughter, Shirley; brothers and sisters, Leland (Jennie), Alvin (Ada), Marie (Con Cook), Irene (Gilbert Steel), Allie (Pauline), Gordon (Zelma) and Velda (Paul Zarecki). She leaves behind Oriole (Bob Titus) and June (dec. Vernon Story); son, Keith (Wendy); granddaughter, Kate (Freddie Sutherland); children, James Inglis and Levi Sutherland; sister-in-law, Dot Hudson; son, Les (Angie). She is also predeceased by daughter-in-law, Bernadette Hudson; mother of Leeanne (Ken Reidl); children, Alyssa and Garrison and Michelle (Shane Ferneyhough); son Ethan. Ulla is mourned by daughter-in-law-, Sylvie Keddy; mother of Brad Cameron (Sara); children, Alex, Ella, Jordan and Logan; son, Adam Cameron (Chantel); children, Raea, Isaac and Maeve; daughter, Lindsay Spinney (Jamie); children, Jadon, Oliver and Baby Sylvie. Also mourned by granddaughter, Alicia Frontain (Jason Hill); children, CJ Andrews, Maddison Worden, Zoey Worden; great great grandson, Jaxxson Worden; Becky Frontain; children, Draven Gates, Noble Frontain and Rayein Frontain. Ulla was able to stay in her own home with the help and support of Dot Hudson and Angie and Les, Jeannette Halliday, Sandy Glass as well as her Scrabble buddies Marcia and Dan Garagan. We thank you all as it meant so much to her A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in the Garden of Peace Cemetery, Victoria Beach. A funeral service will be held 4:00pm Sunday June 5th, 2022 in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Deann Carter officiating.
