Obituary of Heather Carol Legge

Legge, Heather Carol – 67, of Bridgetown passed away December 7, 2021 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Truro, September 14, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marilyn (Armstrong) Duncan. Heather grew up on the south shore, in Mahone Bay. She was an educational assistant, and worked at the Bridgetown Elementary School for over 20 years. She was also a very loyal TOPS member, she was proud of being part of this group for over 30 years. Heather was a great mother and grandmother, and a good friend to all. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughters, Melissa Legge, Clarence, Cynthia Legge (Fraser O’Neill), Vernon, BC; grandchildren, Tayden and Rory; siblings, Scott (Bonnie) Duncan, Clearland, Nancy (Harry) Balcolme, Blockhouse, David (Janet) Duncan, Hammonds Plains, Gordon (Carolyn) Duncan, Victoria, BC; nieces and nephews, Martin, Leanne, Brad, Leslie, Lindsey and James; Aunt, Beverly (Glen) Brown, Bridgewater. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Heather’s memory may be made to Bridgetown Regional Community School or the local SPCA. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mountain Lea Lodge for the exceptional care Heather received during her time there.
