Obituary of Robert Roy Beattie

Beattie, Robert Roy – 83, of Middleton passed away November 10, 2021 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bridgetown, May 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Fred and Marjorie (Mac Gowan) Beattie. Robert spent his working years nursing in Ontario. Upon retirement he moved back home to Nova Scotia. Robert was a great animal lover, and gave very generously to the SPCA. Robert is survived by his brother, Donald (Marilyn) Beattie of Annapolis Royal; a special niece, Susan; as well as several other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his half siblings, Earl, Thomas, and Erma. A graveside service will take place 11am Saturday, November 13, 2021 in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown, with Pastor Herb Anderson Officiating. Covid 19 restrictions will apply.
