Obituary of Shirley Maxine Phelan

Phelan, Shirley Maxine – 86, of Bridgetown passed away October 21, 2021 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born August 31, 1935, in Annapolis County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Lillian Poole. Shirley was a hard worker, who always tried to do what was best. She persevered through many obstacles, while always maintaining a sense of humor. She has helped many people throughout the years. She helped take care of Forrest Phelan day and night for about three years at the family home. Now she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through faith in His finished work on the cross. She will see her husband, Forrest, again in heaven. Shirley is survived by her son, Richard, of Bridgetown; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Forrest C. Phelan. A private family service will take place in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, with a burial in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Cemetery.
