Fredericks, Richard Bruce, 79 of Bridgetown passed away Oct.20, 2021 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Tupperville he was a son of the late James Walter and Helen (Vidito) Fredericks. He worked in the woods cutting logs in his younger years and drove taxi for his brother Ed. He also worked at Chipman Farms and several other places. He had a true love for dogs as he had many through the years and he enjoyed playing bingo and cards. He is survived by sisters: Mona Fredericks of Bridgetown, Faye (Kenneth) Halliday of Hillsburn, Helen (Donnie) Johnston of Lequille; brothers: Henry (Shirley) of Wilmot, Ed Fredericks of Centrelea; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Jim Fredericks, infant brothers Charles and Wayne; sisters: Geraldine Vidito, Kay Melanson, Effie Amero and Peggy Harlow. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Round Hill Cemetery with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. COVID restrictions will apply. Proof of vaccination and ID must be shown and masks are mandatory. The family would like to thank Saunders Rest Home and Soldiers Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care they provided .
