Wayne Joseph Melanson, from Corberrie Nova Scotia. Lived in Clemenstport, Annapolis County, peacefully passed away at the age of 64, from cancer on September 12, 2021. A simple, humble man who enjoyed working for Parks Canada for 40 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Bernadette Melanson. He is survived by his beloved partner in life of 32 years, Marilyn Hunt. (Marilyn’s immediate family; mother, Joan; sister Karen (Al); brothers, Kenny, Tom (Beth), and Jamie. Wayne leaves behind the family he has always loved; his twin brother Alan Melanson (Durline) Annapolis Royal, sister Patricia Melanson (François) Little Brook, brother Richard Melanson (Shelia) Meteghan, Aunt, Emilié Melanson, Saulnierville and nephew Randall Melanson (Bonnie, and children Brycen, Tanner, Vivica). Many special thanks to close a friend Danny Blinn (Lisa). All the many friends and family that were there for him during this time in Wayne’s journey. Thank you. He loved his family, he loved the people he worked with. Enjoyed the people he met every day during his time at Port-Royal Habitation. “You were always very important and a special person in my life and in other people’s lives.” I love you Wayne. You will never be forgotten. Thank you to Dr. S. Bonnington, the many other doctors and nurses, the VON, and in-home blood work, and the kindness and support of family and friends.
