O’Brien, Joseph Anthony “Joe” 72 of Bridgetown passed away suddenly at home on Friday July 30, 2021. Born in Truro, NS he was a son of the late Wallace and Annie (McLennan) O’Brien. In his younger years he worked at Britex, Mountain Lea Lodge, and CFB Greenwood. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Joe was thoughtful, loving, had a great sense of humor, and will be dearly missed by his family. Joe is survived by his twin brother Wally O’Brien of Bridgetown, brother Bernie (Sandra) O’Brien of Bridgetown; sisters Rose Allen of Kingston and Sandra (Richard) Baker of Bridgetown; brother-in-law Joe Herygers and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters: Marie Herygers and Dorothy O’Brien; brother-in-law Ray Allen and sister-in-law Marcella O’Brien. A private family gathering to honor Joe’s life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown.
