Romans, Randolph “Randy” Merlin – 83, of Lake LaRose, passed away Monday July 12, 2021, in the Digby General Hospital. He was the son of the late Perry and Annie (Taylor) Legge. Randy had worked in different careers throughout his life and could be considered a jack of all trades. In his younger years he had a great love for bowling, where he gained many trophies. He also had a great love for cars; Driving was most definitely his favorite pastime. Randy loved to socialize everywhere he went. He also enjoyed to watch hockey on TV, even if it meant learning how to work the satellite dish, which he mastered in no time. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and close friends. Randy is survived by his wife, Betty Ann; son, Michael (Colette); daughter, Mary Ann (Amrit); and the great joy of his life, his granddaughter, Joey. He is also survived by cousin, Gordon Romans; nieces, Holly, Wendy, Heather, Janis, Angela (Joey); nephew, Albert, Austin (Kim) and their children, Timothy and Jay. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Jackie (Legge) Jollimore and Alva (Legge) Malvin. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A Private family service will take place at a later date, with a burial in St. Marks Anglican Cemetery, Perotte.
