Ring, LeRoy Gilson – 88 of Bridgetown, passed away suddenly in Valley Regional Hospital on July 10, 2021. Born on June 6, 1933 in Bridgetown, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Taylor) Ring. He worked as a meat cutter by trade, worked on local farms and retired from Mountain Lea Lodge after working 20 years. LeRoy loved his family. His pride and joy where his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved collecting stamps, reading, listening to country music and watching all sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. LeRoy will be sadly missed by loving wife, Mera (Lewis); daughter, Shirley (Perry) Sarty; son, Scott (Rosetta) Ring; sisters, Freda Guest, Sherry (Keith) Cormier; brother, Lyle (Carol) Ring; grandchildren, Dustin, Kara, Jenna, Felica, Brandon, Thomas and Keith; great grandchildren, Edwin, TJ, Madison and Lexi. Besides his parents, LeRoy was predeceased by brothers, Harold (Florence) Ring, Carl (Edna) Ring, and brother-in-law, Edgar Guest. Following LeRoy’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Burial will take place at a later date.
