Obituary of Violetta Marie Foster

FOSTER, Violetta Marie (nee Dexter)... A resident of Chatham, formerly of Nova Scotia, Violetta Foster passed away at Riverview Gardens on July 5, 2021 at the age of 90. Born in Hampton, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (nee Ward) Dexter. Beloved wife of the late LeRoy Foster (1995). Loving mother of Debbie (Doug) Deneau, Donna (late Charlie) Formosa, Blair (Leanne) Foster, Randy (Cathy) Foster, and Bonita (Tom) Titus. Grandma to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Herald Dexter and sisters Shirley Refuse and Bonnie Magarvey. Predeceased by siblings, Willie, Ardith, Eileen, Jimmy and Kenny and infant daughter Juanita. Lubby, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed being mother to her children and by extension, became a wonderful grandma and great-grandma. Her family was the most important thing to her and she will be forever missed. A private visitation will be taking place at McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham. Cremation to follow. Lubby will be reunited with LeRoy and Juanita in Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, Nova Scotia. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Lubby are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Society of Chatham-Kent. "You are my sunshine" **A Visitation will be held 2pm, with a Funeral Service beginning at 3pm, Friday July 16, 2021 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Pastor Chuck Daniels officiating. An interment will take place in the Hampton Cemetery following the service. **
