Clayton, Marion Louise – 95, of Annapolis Royal passed away December 14, 2020, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Hillsburn, April 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Della Longmire. Marion loved to travel, and was always on the go. Shopping and special trips to Frenchies were her favorites. She loved to cook; laugh; and being around the kids, always offering to babysit where she could. Marion was very involved in her church, and will be sadly missed by her church family. She was also a life member of the missionary society and a member of Fundy Thread and Thimble quilting group Marion in survived by her daughter, Mary (Harvey), of New York; three grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Arthur, Ruth, June, Gloria, and Elizabeth; several great and great great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; siblings, Ruby and Wilfred; niece and nephews, Brian, Mary Lou and Richard. A visitation will be held 1-2pm, with a funeral service beginning at 2pm, Thursday December 17, 2020, in the Parkers Cove Baptist Church, with Pastor Jeff George and Pastor Steve Hiltz officiating. Burial will follow in the Parkers Cove Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Marion’s memory may be made to the Parkers Cove Baptist Church.
