Warren, Mary Agnes, 91, of the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home formerly of Smiths Cove, Digby County. It is with deep sadness and many treasured memories that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Agnes (Campbell-Smith) Warren on January 24, 2012. She was born in Legatt's Point, Montane County, Quebec, May 4, 1920 to William and Agnes Sarah (Campbell) Smith. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George "Kaiser" Warren and her son-in-law, Percy "Timer" Fawson. Mary's life can be characterized by the qualities of love, generosity, and kindness which she shared with others. Her perseverance, strong character, and sense of gentle humor were qualities all admired. Mary was a supporter of the Smiths Cove Fire Department and Historical Society. She had many interests and was an active member of the Friday Night Ladies Club, the United Church, and Home and School Associations. She worked at Harbour View Hotel in the summers and was the Avon Lady in the area for many years. She had a love of animals and of Warren's Point. Get-togethers with family, friends, and good food were greatly enjoyed by her. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 27, both in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Robert McCarthy officiating.
