Chipman, Isabel Grace, of Tupperville, Anna. Co., passed away Thursday Dec. 22, 2011, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Tupperville, she was a daughter of the late Fred Mark and Grace Joy (Ritcey) Chipman. Isabel had a deep love of teaching and taught school for about 40 years and was also a Home Economics Supervisor for many of those years. She was also a devoted member of the United Church and a long time member of the Women's Institute. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nephew Scott (Sally) Whitman and grand nephew and grand niece Evan and Olivia Whitman all of Bridgetown; nephews Paul and Warren Howes of Toronto and her special companion Christine her cat. Besides her parents she predeceased by her sister Helen. Visitation will be held Tuesday Dec. 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 28, 2011 from the William Black United Church, Bridgetown with Rev. Janis Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Round Hill Cemetery, Round Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the William Black United Church or to the CAPS at P.O. Box 363, Middleton, N.S. B0S 1P0.
