Dear Bliss,
So sorry to hear the news of your sad loss. Bill was a lovely man and we have so many happy memories of you and Bill when you were here in the Netherlands with SKF. Do you remember the fun we used to have with Club International?
We missed you both when you returned to Canada, but heard now and again from Terry how you were both doing.
Please accept our sincere condolences to you and all your family.
Brenda and Paul Richardson, Vianen, The Netherlands.

I have several fond memories of Bill, but my my earliest memory of him is from when he would drop Mike and Sean off at elementary school. He would hug and kiss them both - And while at that time I thought it was weird, it is because of this memory that I hug and kiss my own boys. Very sorry for your loss.

Dear Bliss: I will address this little message to you as I know how loving and dedicated you were to Bill's welfare. When I retired 20 years ago back to Bridgetown, I began playing at Crosskill Court where I met Bill's mother Bep, a beautiful soul. In the last 10 years of playing in the Lodge, I was in constant contact with Bill. As others have indicated, he had a warm personality and a great smile. I wish you courage and strength as you adapt to this loss in your life, Bliss.

Dear John - thank you for your kind words. Yes, you saw Bill quite often while you entertained the residents at Mountain Lea. He had always loved music so I was always hopeful that he would be in the room with you when you played the piano. Some days he enjoyed it, some days he wasn't interested. You just never knew how he was going to react. I thank you for all those hours you volunteer there. I know it is very much appreciated. Bliss

To Bliss and Family,
We are deeply saddened by Bill's passing. Our freindship goes back 55 years as schoolmates at NSCC in Halifax in 1965/67.
Bill was in Mechanical Technology and I was in Electrical Technology. After graduation we worked together for a short period at Defense Research in Darmouth.
After going our seperate ways we became re-aquainted again in the Annapolis Valley in the 1990s. Over the years we visited infrequenly with one another, however, our time together was aways full of discussion about , travel , gardening and family.
Bill's love of life was always evident through his compassion for the simpler and most valuable things in life.
This is reflected in his heartfelt poem " A Life With A View "
Rest easy friend.

At least I was there and it was quick. He did not suffer. I treasure the friendship we made during the time visiting the Lodge. Please pass on my hello to Gary.
