Obituary of Bruce Lorriane Wiles

Wiles, Bruce Lorraine – 86, Bridgetown, formerly of Hillsburn, NS, passed away in Grace Haven Rest Home on January 28, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, Queen Co. on July 16, 1933, he was the eldest son of Hardy and Doris (Frail) Wiles. Bruce worked for many years in construction with different companies. The last being with Lafarge Canada Inc., from where he retired in 1998. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah “Deb” Wiles, Toronto, ON; grandson, Isaiah B. Wiles, Toronto, ON; sister, Juanita (Ron) Hewey, Moschelle; brother, Richard (Linda MacCharles), Moschelle; sisters-in-law, Barb Wiles, Moschelle and Joyce Wiles, Calgary, AB. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite (Condon); brothers, William “Bill”, James, and Raymond; niece, Debra Lynn Hewey and nephew, Greg Hewey. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2pm at Hillsburn United Baptist Church, Hillsburn, with Rev. Robert “Bob” Elliot officiating. Private family burial will be at Hillsburn Cemetery.
