Cromwell, Dianna Marie “Dicie” – 74, of Annapolis Royal passed away January 14, 2020, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary, with her family by her side. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Bernice (Langford) Cromwell. Dicie was a beautiful, strong willed, kind hearted woman who would do anything for anyone. She was the best mother and nana her family could have asked for; the glue that held everyone so close. Dicie loved everyone and everyone loved her, and there wasn’t a birthday that passed by that she ever forgot. Besides her family, she also loved a good game of Bingo. Dicie is survived by her common law partner, Clarence “Juggie” Bailey; her children, Robert John, Annapolis, Jerry Lee, Saint John, Fabian Scott (Lindsay), Saint John, Jermaine John, Annapolis , Rosanne Marie, Annapolis, Phyllisteen Anne (Mike Wolfe), Toronto, Melissa Lynn, Annapolis, Margaret Ann (Mike) Pitts, Toronto; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Greta Hamilton, Angela Bailey, Ketah Cavanaugh, Sherman Cromwell, Vandella Cromwell, Joanne H amilton, James Stevenson. Predeceased by siblings Nina Cromwell, Brad Cromwell, Gerald Cromwell, Emmerson Cromwell and Hamford Cromwell; many nieces and nephews. Dicie will always be missed , and is loved to Heaven and back. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A Celebration of Dicie’s life will be held Saturday January 18, 2020 at 12:00 pm in the Deepbrook Waldec Lions Club. Donations in her memory may be sent to the Diabetic Association of Nova Scotia.
