Krueger, Dietmar “Dieter” (1935 – 2020)
The family announces with sorrow the death of Dietmar Krueger in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Gustav Lothar Krueger and the late Herta (née Kalwar) Krueger. Dietmar always took pride in all that he set his mind to. He found it an exciting privilege to work within the Avro Arrow project, as well as within the Sears Company for 28 years. Dietmar was an honorable man who on many occasions could be seen giving his personal possessions away to individuals who needed it more. He was a loving father of Jacqueline Pitt of Porters Lake; Monica Baldwin of Bramalea and Alexander Krueger of Orangeville. He will be sadly missed and loving remembered by grandchildren, Brittany, Kassandra, Hannah, Ashley, Amanda, Sarah and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jacqueline; brother of Ingrid, Gisela and Lothar. He was predeceased by his wife, Erika (nee Ehmann); sister, Roswitha. . His family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Hospice Halifax for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, Nova Scotia.
