Moore, Ret'd Cpl Zane Russell - 74, The family of the Zane Russell Moore, Round Hill, would like to announce that his new journey has begun on October 25th, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Ronald MacLeod, and Margaret (Durling) Moore. Zane was the best husband, father , grandfather and friend you could ask for.. He was part of the RCAF, during which time served in several different countries. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, music and since retirement of 25 years; he enjoyed his shop in Centrelea, puttering around with lawn mowers and small engines. He was able to build or repair anything or would try with a smile and a whistle.He also shared the Teddy Bears Picnic song with every child he knew. Survived by his loving wife Mary (Barteaux) Moore of 52 years; sons Kevin Moore of Lower Sackville, Ken (Susan) Moore of Beaver Bank, daughter Kimberley (David) Robinson of New Ross; grandchildren Sarah, Kirk, Krystal, Jamie; great granddaughter Ella; sister Zeita (Clyde) Bailey; brother in-law Neil Marshall and sister in-law Drenna Moore. several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Other than his parents Zane was predeceased by his step father Cecil Reginald Moore; brother Zerald (Pook) Moore and sister Zelda (Moore) Marshall. Funeral arrangements have been in trusted to the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Visitation will be held Friday 7-9, with a funeral service Saturday at 11am from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Reception to follow at the Round Hill Community Hall. Interment will be at the later date. By request family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of N.S. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to all who provided kindness and care to Zane and his family during this difficult time.
