Minerva Grace Holton It is with regret we announce the passing of Minerva G. Holton, 84, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at The Moncton Hospital. Minerva was born in the beautiful Annapolis Valley and was a daughter of Elwin and May (Ernest) Lowe. Minerva was a retired Cashier Supervisor with K-Mart with 13 ½ years’ service, retiring in May of 1987. She was a member of St. Philip’s Anglican Church and attended St. John the Baptist Anglican Church. Minerva was a member of Frank H. Tingley #5 O.E.S. and held many offices, one being Worthy Matron. She was a former Grand representative to Wisconsin. Minerva will be sadly missed by her husband of over 65 years, George Holton; children, Betty Rushton (Charlie), Lloyd Holton Sr. (Shelley), Stephen Holton and Bonnie MacBeath; cherished grandchildren, Lloyd Holton Jr. (Terri), Mark Holton, Tim Holton (Kelly Smith), Angela McNutt (Neil), Ashley Holton and Logan and Tori MacBeath; great grandchildren, Riley Holton, Cole McNutt, Seanna Holton-LeBlanc and Skylar Stone. Minerva was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In honoring Minerva’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Committal service will take place at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Bridgetown, NS on May 14, 2017 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Joel Hardy officiating. Arrangements under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
