Potter, Mark Randall, 56 of Kings Regional Rehabilitation Center, Waterville formerly of Parker Mountain Road, Annapolis Co. passed away August 17, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of Glen and Viola (Oliver) Potter. Mark loved the outdoors and especially liked hunting, fishing, and exploring. He worked as a carpenter at the Parkers Cove Shipyard and was especially proud of having worked on the rollercoaster at Upper Clements Theme Park and on the Delaps Cove Wilderness Trail. He was an avid Montreal Canadians fan and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Annapolis Royal Branch where he enjoyed playing darts and pool. Mark shared a special bond with his nephew Ryan and enjoyed watching Ryan’s hockey and lacrosse games. Besides his parents he is survived by brothers; Darrell (Joy) of Digby, Brad of Parkers Cove, sisters: Lana Potter (Craig) of Kentville, Jane (John) MacKay of Truro, sister-in-law Gina Potter of Parkers Cove, several nieces and nephews. Mark was predeceased by his brother Grant. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 3, 2016 from the Parkers Cove Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff George officiating. Burial will be in the Parker Mountain Cemetery.
