Obituary of Jessie Viola Fox

Fox, Jessie Viola – 73 of Granville Ferry, passed away December 29,2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Annapolis Royal, she was a daughter of the late Loren and Jessie (McGrath) Ellis. Jessie was a member of the Port Royal Legion, Branch No. 21, Annapolis Royal. She loved to spend time at her cottage at Milbury Lake and enjoyed listening to music. Jessie is survived by her daughters, Janice (Andrew) Sabean, Granville Ferry, Iona Fox (Darrell Nickerson), Granville Centre and Heather Fox-Perry (Dickie Perry), Granville Ferry; grandsons, Duggan Blue and Cody Nathaniel; fur grandbaby, Bailey; sisters, Joyce (Clare) Halliday, Hillsburn, Nancy (Robert) Irving, Baxters Harbour and Dorothy Ellis (Eugene Casey), Granville Ferry; brothers, William (Ethel) Ellis, Parkers Cove, Percy (Diane) Ellis, Carleton, Yarmouth Co., and Steve (Rose) Ellis, Lequille.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Alfred Fox; common-law partner, George Thibodeau; sisters, Emma, Hilda and Pauline; brothers, Lawrence, Charles, Roger and Robert. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Friday, January 1, 2016, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Legassie officiating. Burial will follow in Port Wade Cemetery. Donations made in Jessie's memory may be sent to Annapolis West Health Foundation, Annapolis Royal.
