Obituary of Elvis George Amero

Please share a memory of Elvis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Nora L. Amero, wife of Elvis G. Amero, age 65, wishes to announce the full healing of her husband as he has stepped into glory on May 27, 2023.  His passing has brought both sadness and joy to his daughters, grandchildren, and church families for knowing him.

He will be remembered as being a hardworking man of the woods business, entrepreneur of selling eggs, making ice and also preaching the gospel. Oh, yes, the days of driving school bus brought a love for many students: never a man to be idle!

He is survived by wife, Nora Linda (Marshall), daughters Zabrina Lennie (Blaine) Mahar, Emelina Ethel, and Danica Mae, (Colton) Manette and Jasmine too.  Grandchildren Morgan, Keaton, Zoe, Dawson, Lydia, Levi, Eliza, Graceson and Gabriel are left to remember him fondly. More blessings to reflect his love are the great grandchildren, Carlie, Charlotte, Ella and soon to arrive a grandson.  There also remain his siblings, Marilyn, Dolores, Annette and Spencer, as well as, fosters brothers, Kyle, Billy, Scott and several nieces and nephews. Mother in law, Lennie Marshall, will miss his hugs dearly.

He was predeceased by his parents George and Ethel Amero, daughter Dominique Nora, father in law Earle Marshall.

Visitation will be held 6pm-8pm Tuesday, May 30th. On Wednesday May 31, 2023, a visitation will be held from 1pm until the start of service at 2pm. All being held at South Range Christian Church, 3901 Sissiboo Road, South Range.  Burial will follow in South Range Community Cemetery, South Range.

At this time we would like to acknowledge and thank you for your continuing support and prayers that have encouraged and provided in many ways.  The VON support team has been outstanding in their service of compassion and care, as well as, the palliative care team who have been all timely put in place by Dr. Alain Blinn, Thank you. His last words for you from him would be, “MERCY”!
