Patey, Marguerite “Sally” Olive – 88, of Bridgetown, passed away in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, July 17, 2026.Born in Farmborough Kent, England she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Douch) Curd.

During Sallys working career she worked as a telephone operator in England, Toronto and Halifax. In her later years she taught ceramics classes. She was an avid quilter and rug hooker. Her greatest joy in life was her family, they were everything to her.

Sally is survived by her husband, Ralph; son, William ‘Bill’ (Roxanne); grandchildren, Lisa (Bill), Brittany (Shawn) and Kristen (Brad); great grandchildren, Connor and Madison. Besides her parents, Sally was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held 2pm Saturday August 8, 2026, from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home Bridgetown. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown.
