It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear friend, companion and father, Emilien Louis Albert (Emile) on June 15/2026, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 86.

He leaves behind his companion of 26 years Ruth Pauline Joudrey, Mountain and Meadows, a son Eric Albert, a brother Donat Albert and three grandchildren all in New Brunswick.

Emile enjoyed life to the fullest, his love of the outdoors led to hunting and fishing. His great joy was playing pool at the local legion and in tournaments.

Emile wore many hats during his work life. He was bilingual, a graduate of Sir George Williams University, winning many awards for bookkeeping and typist in both French and English.

Emile worked for Royal Bank of Canada in the Visa Department in Quebec for many years.

He finally settled back in New Brunswick where he owned and operated a hardware store and operated a driveway sealing company in Nova Scotia.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

There will be no service per his request. Internment will occur at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown.
