Collins, Josephine Mary – 92 years, formerly of Clementsport, passed away June 13, 2026 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in 1933, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Gertrude (Gatherall) Ramsey.

Josephine worked various jobs in her younger years, helping to provide for her family when needed. After moving back to Nova Scotia, she enjoyed retirement; attending events such as Bridge at the Clementsport Legion, and knitting when she as able.

She is survived by her sons, Steven (Anna) of Dartmouth, Richard (Cheryl) of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Billy of Newfoundland; several nieces and nephews.Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick; brothers, Donald, Eddie and Earl in Infancy; sister, Betty Spurr.

A visitation will be held 6-8pm Wednesday June 17 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday June 18, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Annapolis Royal. Burial to follow. Donations in Josephine’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
