Roseland Mary Wamboldt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roseland Mary Wamboldt, age 70, at her home on June 4, 2026.
Born in Digby, Nova Scotia, on January 12, 1956, Roseland was the beloved daughter of Paul and Stella Hamilton and the devoted wife of Richard Garfield Wamboldt for 53 years.
Roseland was a hardworking woman who spent more than 20 years working at Cornwallis Laundry. She also worked at Upper Clements Park, as well as at Dollarama and a local convenience store.
Roseland embraced life with enthusiasm and creativity. She loved spending time with friends and enjoyed many crafts and artistic pursuits. A talented artist, she created beautiful oil paintings and quilts and was always eager to learn new skills and take on new projects.
Roseland will be remembered for her warm heart, creative spirit, strong work ethic, and the joy she brought to others. She leaves behind her husband, Richard; her son, Trevor; her grandchildren, Colton and Colby; as well as her sister, Donna Perkins, and several nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her father, Paul Hamilton; her mother, Stella Hamilton; her brother, Wayne Hamilton; her sisters, Shirley Frost; Rosemary Scott; and her half-sister, Diane Milbury.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Bear River East Baptist Church.
A celebration of Roseland's life will be announced at a later date.
