Marjorie Juanita Hudson

January 4, 1939 to May 31, 2026

Marjorie (Marge) Juanita Hudson, age 87, of Port Wade, passed away peacefully at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, surrounded by her family.  Born on January 4, 1939 in Victoria Beach, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Alberta (Weir) Taylor.

Before retiring, Marjorie was employed at Casey Fisheries for many years, where she enjoyed working alongside friends and relatives.  In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, and embroidery, including making quilts for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren over the years.  One of her favorite games to play was always Chinese checkers, and in recent years, added puzzles to her list of things to do.

Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  There was no such thing as visiting too often.  She enjoyed baking bread, cookies and her famous doughnuts for them, so they would always have something to take home after a visit.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Sandra Mansfield, Charlotte Janes (Wayne), Darrell and Chris (Lois); grandchildren, Nick Mansfield, Ryan Mansfield, Michelle Turner, Courtney MacIntosh, Ethan Janes, Jillian Manning, and Bronson Sarty; great-grandchildren, Clark, Abby, Jordyn, Bennett, Brantley, Blake, Gabe, and Wyatt; siblings, Dorothy Hudson, Grace Moschuk, Mildred Ring, John Taylor, and Lloyd Taylor, along with many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Milton; son, Bruce; brother, Stewart Taylor; sisters, Elsie Stanton and Alice Orde.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation by request.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20 at 11:00 am at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal.  Interment will be in the Port Wade Cemetery.  Family flowers only.  Donations in memory may be made to the Port Wade Cemetery or charity of one’s choice.  Online condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com.
