Wallace, Robert “Bob” Allison-Age 88 passed away peacefully on Saturday May16,2026 at Tideview Terrace in Digby NS where he had been a resident for nearly 5 years. He was born on July 25,1937 in Wilmot NS. He was the son the late Reginald Howard Wallace and Mabel Glendean (Gillis) Wallace.       

Bob went to Middleton Regional High School and played sports throughout his high school years. These were great memories for him and he talked about them a lot especially in his later years. Basketball, volleyball, and baseball were his favorite sports. He also went on to do some coaching. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and had many fond memories of going to a hunting camp in West Dalhousie with his dad and uncles.

He and his family moved from Wilmot NS to Middleton NS where he became the first town Police Constable. He later worked at Andrews Department Store and Simpson Sears in Middleton NS and at Eatons in the Greenwood Mall. He had his own store in Meadowvale NS and after he moved to Berwick NS he opened up "Bargain Bobs". He was a real salesman and was always trying to make a deal or sale. He truly missed this in his later years when he was unable to work. He was a big part of Neighborhood Watch in the Berwick area when he lived there.   

He had a great fondness for music and his satellite radio was always playing.  He loved singing at the jams at the North Range Hall in North Range, NS. Bob lived by the motto "One Day At A Time" and would often refer to the serenity prayer. He was a true Toronto Blue Jay fan.  

Bob leaves behind his daughters, Kathy (Rob) Mulley of Bramber NS, Wendy (Rickey) Robicheau of Doucetteville, NS, and Janet (Colin) Lowe, of Meadowvale NS; son Darren Wallace Meadowvale NS; grandchildren, Michael, Nick, Nathan, Melissa, Jeremy, Amanda, and Cassidy as well as great grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Also, his sister Beverly (Bruce) McGregor Halifax NS and his brother Gary (Paulette) Wallace, of Truro, NS.  

 Bob was predeceased by his parents and his brother Ronnie, sister-in law Diane and niece Tina Wallace all of Truro NS. In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation has taken. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Berwick Cemetery in Berwick NS.   

Special mention-To the staff of Tideview Terrace-thank you for the love and support shown to Dad and I throughout his journey there especially in those last few weeks. Also, to Lisa (his sister in Christ) for taking the time to send cards and gifts to him over his years there. He always looked forward to receiving them from you.
