Elizabeth 'Ann' Baker Obituary
Baker, Elizabeth ‘Ann’ Dora, 75, of Bridgetown, NS passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, in the Annapolis Community Health Centre after a brief illness. Ann was born in Middleton, and was the daughter of the late Dave and Betty Baker, East Chester.
Ann grew up in Clarence and later moved with her parents in East Chester, where she lived until their passing. She then relocated to Bridgetown to be closer to her family.
Ann enjoyed walking when she was able and had a ‘green thumb’ for gardening. She took great pride in the beautiful flower gardens she created at her parents’ home, which caught the eye of many travelers who often stopped to take pictures. Ann also had a deep love for dogs especially the family companions – Champ, Tiny and Maggie.
Ann is survived by her brothers, David (Lynda) Baker of Clarence, Richard (Sandra) Baker of Bridgetown; sister in-law Annette Baker of Clarence, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother James ‘Jimmy’ Baker and niece Lisa Baker-Petrie.
She will be sadly missed and remembered always.
A visitation will be held 7-9pm Sunday, May 17 with a graveside service being held 2pm Monday May 18, 2026 in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown with Rev. Julia Ford officiating.
