Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved brother, Jeffrey George Peach, who passed away on March 12, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta.

Jeffrey was born on July 12, 1966, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Buckler Troop and Ruby Elizabeth Troop (Fulton); his parents, John Turner Peach and Doris Josephine Peach (Troop); his brother, Micah John Ross Peach; his sister, Robin Lynn Peach (Knowlton); and his daughter, Sammy Jo Difford.

Jeffrey grew up in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, where he attended school and developed a deep love for the outdoors. In his younger years, he was a Nova Scotia golden glove boxing champion, traveling across the province and proudly holding his title for many years.

He had a lifelong passion for fishing and hunting, spending every spare moment doing what he loved most. Jeffrey was especially proud of his remarkable catch—a 66.5-pound bass from the Annapolis River in Bridgetown—an achievement that still holds recognition today.

Jeffrey lived with the belief that if people focused on the truly important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles, and that to fish is to hold a mirror to nature—a reminder to slow down and cherish each moment. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sister, Susan Peach (Erl); his brothers, Adam, Andrew, and Marty; along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Cremation has taken place in Calgary, and Jeffrey has since been returned to Nova Scotia—a place he loved deeply, where he found joy in hunting, fishing, and living life to the fullest.

A celebration of life will be held on April 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Round Hill Hall.

Jeffrey will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
