Tracy Blake Hamilton Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tracy Blake Hamilton, 58, of Lawrencetown, Annapolis County, March 8, 2026, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Hillsburn, he is the son of Chester and Avis Hamilton. Tracy’s love of fish dragging with his dad was something he talked about a lot to anyone that would listen. Every summer Tracy and Kim would go trout fishing after work, or on weekends whenever they could. Sitting outside most evenings watching the sun go down with coffee in hand. Their girls, Patricia and Samantha were his greatest treasures. He would say “I’m so lucky to have two of the greatest daughter’s god could have ever made.” He cherished watching them growing into the loving ladies they are today. Kayleigh made him a Gramps first, you could see his face light up when she entered the room. Followed by the beautiful Lily, handsome Lucas and shy Maximus.
Tracy is survived by his wife, Kim (Lewis) of 38 years; daughters, Patricia (Brandon) of Kingston, Samantha (Clayton) of Kentville; father, Chester; brothers, Keith (Liz), Alberta, Larry (Shelley), Annapolis Royal, Roland (Janice), Hillsburn. Tracy was predeceased by his mother, Avis; sister-in-law, Margie; nephew, Bryden.
Tracy was lucky to have had so many family and friends that loved and cared for him. The family thanks you so much.
Following Tracy’s wishes, cremation will take place and the family will hold a small gathering at a later date.

Nova Scotia man, you feel so far away
Sleeping in a beige room
In sheets bright as May
But sometime soon, in the turquoise tides,
your soul will come to rest.
And I will look off the ocean shore and
remember all of your best.
When I see the sea glass glistening,
I’ll know you saw it too,
as you will be the ocean,
so very strong and true.
When I feel the seaweed,
and it tangles around my waist,
I’ll know that it is the best of you,
giving me a light embrace.
When I pick a shell or rock,
from the floor of the sea,
I’ll know that you tumbled it,
polished it just for me,
I love you Nova Scotia man,
and that will always be true.
Even when you’re off to sea,
exploring the beautiful blue.
