Wright, Leroy Irving – 73, Bridgetown, formerly of South Milford passed away at home Sunday February 22, 2026. Born in Digby, he was the son of the late Vernon and Elizabeth (Potter) Wright.

Leroy worked in the woods most of his life. He had a love for the great outdoors, and could be found working in his woodpile in his spare time. For the last 20 years, before his retirement, Leroy worked for C.N. Orde and sons as a laborer. Over all, he loved his family, and loved spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Joanne; son, Jonathan (Jamie) Long, Clementsvale; step daughters, Amanda (Paul) Stewart, Bridgetown, Samantha (LeRoy) Amero, Middleton; seven grandchildren; sisters, Verna (Henry), Lorraine, Margie (Rodney), Carolyn, Roberta (Allister), Amelia, Annette; brothers, Freddie (Alissa), Robert (Darelene); several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Leory was predeceased by sisters, Sharon and Barbie.
