Linda Marsha Mullen
September 20, 1952 - February 8, 2026
Linda Marsha Mullen of Clementsvale passed away at home on February 8, 2026 after a lengthy and courageous battle with brain cancer. Born September 20, 1952 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Linda is now resting in eternal peace with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, James Mullen, and her cherished children: Aurilie (Adam) Churchill, Chad (Tina) Doucette, and Alicia (Matthew) Moses. She was a proud grandmother to her eleven grandchildren: Riley, Brayden, Hannah, Ethan, Chloe, Georgia, Gabe, London, Victoria, Camden, Hudson and great grandmother to Weston and Levi. Linda is also survived by her loving sister, Raylene Rogers (Stewart), a niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Olive and Raymond Dease; and brother, Brian Dease.
An avid equestrian, Linda was a talented course designer, baker, and gardener. She had a deep, enduring love for horses and proudly bred warmbloods at her farm in Clementsvale. Her love for animals extended well beyond the stable, as she also bred and showed CKC-registered Golden Retrievers for 34 years, building Ambercreek Goldens alongside her husband Jim into the brand recognized today.
She could whip up the most beautiful floral arrangements and was rarely without her clippers. A renowned baker, Linda found joy in both baking for company and submitting baked goods for judging. She was a fudge connoisseur, taking home countless red ribbons. Deeply devoted to exhibitions, she embraced all things country; teal was her favourite colour. She treasured time at her lake house, roasting marshmallows by the fire and had a deep love for Christmas and decorating.
Linda loved to go south, basking in the sun, enjoying long days at the beach. Whether in the barn, at an exhibition, on the road to a new destination, or relaxing by the sea Linda lived life fully and passionately. Linda enjoyed road trips with her BFFs; their love, companionship and unwavering support were a constant source of comfort and joy throughout her life. Her love for Werther’s candies is fondly remembered by family and friends.
Linda’s energy, passion and devotion were evident in everything she did, reflecting a life lived fully and with deep affection for the people and passions she cherished.
A visitation will be held 12pm, with a service being at 1pm, Friday February 13, 2026 from the Wesleyan Church, Digby with Pastor Andrew Maves officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Havelock. Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
