Obituary of Heather Ann Rafuse
Heather Ann Rafuse, 69 of Bridgetown, passed away peacefully, on February 7 leaving behind a life marked by dedication, kindness, and a deep love for her family and community.
Heather spent all her adult life in Bridgetown, where she was well known and deeply respected. For more than 30 years, she worked at Mountains and Meadows (Mountain Lea Lodge), where she was valued for her strong work ethic, loyalty, and genuine care for others. Her long service reflected her steady nature and commitment to the people and places she cared about.
Heather was a lifelong crafter, from knitting, stamping, and tole painting Heather had a real knack for being creative. She loved music and dances and was always ready when someone suggested a shopping trip or a meal out.
Heather is lovingly remembered by her two children, Jonathan and Janel; her grandchildren, Braden, Justin, Matthew and Kendra who brought her great pride and joy.
She will be deeply missed by her brothers, Craig (Edith) and Jeffrey, and her sisters, Crystal (Herb) and Melissa (Kirk) and several nieces and nephews. Heather was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Twila Rafuse, and by her brother, Glen.
Heather will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her quiet strength, kindness, and quick wit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday February 10th at 1:00 PM with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Internment will be at a later date. Donation in memory of Heather can be made to Mountains and Meadows Recreation Dept or Hillside Cemetery, Parkers Cove.
