Blair David Babin of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co. N.S. passed away on January 28, 2026 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton.

Blair was born on June 29, 1962, in Dartmouth, N.S. to Freeman Joseph Babin and Marguerite Joyce (DeYoung) Babin .

Blair had many jobs over the years – he worked in a few restuarants as a young man.  Had B&B Towing company for a few years.  Worked at AFT sawmill and Woods Concrete and went on to driving truck for Stirling’s Farm Market in Greenwich.

Blair was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Rose (Foggoa) Babin; siblings, Helena Joy Ing, Brian, Edward (Eddie) and Gary.

Blair is survived by his partner, Candice VanDerfluit, Lawrencetown; daughters, Katilyn Babin and Amanda Stackhouse; siblings, Linda Corkery, Darlene D’Entremont (Herb), Michael (Cheryl) and Wayne (Sue); four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Following Blair’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
